I am surprised every monsoon season how someone (probably new to the area) thinks they can drive their vehicle through a rain-swollen wash and end up getting stranded and needing a rescue (for which they now get invoiced). I guess some folks cannot read the signs that say &quot;Do not enter if water is over the road.&quot;</description>

		<description>Yes, it does! I suppose it is a combination of the hard soil and heavy rains-- no time for the water to be absorbed, so it runs all over the low ground. You don&#039;t carve huge canyons from drizzle.</description>
